Naturally, when people hear listening, they already think “haaa, na oyinbo dey talk o”. But before we rush you into listening accents and all, you need to know some things and with just few rehearsals, you will learn new things

      1. Oyinbo does not speak more than English, and yes, due to our thick english lectures and all, you may have a difficulty hearing because they speak faster and in “tiny” pitches. Funnily, the way an american speaks to your ears may differ a great deal with an “init” person from UK. You need to focus on the passage. Before you listen, quickly run through everything on that part of ielts page and get the scope of what that part is talking about- What is it talking about?

Then, IELTS listening is all about attention. When you are listening, that’s not the time to think about the last time you had 6hours sleep or the last time you ate shawarma

The IELTS Listening test will take about 30 minutes, and you will have an extra 10 minutes to transfer your answers to the answer sheet.

The four parts of this practice Listening test are presented over four separate parts or section. Make sure you move swiftly from one page to the next so that your practice is as realistic as possible.
