Getting your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number is a crucial part of the application process that you need to complete before you can apply for your Student Visa.
Here are the steps you need to take to get your CAS once you have received an unconditional offer from some University.
When your offer becomes unconditional, there are just a few more steps to take to obtain your CAS number. You will need your CAS number to apply for your Student Visa.
1. Accept your unconditional offer
2. Pay a minimum deposit of £1,000-3,000 towards your course
3. Some International Students may get a Credibility Interview before the university issues a CAS, as the UKVI executes creditability interview on CAS holders from South Asia and Nigeria
4. Provide the financial evidence that you will use to apply for your visa
5. You may require a TB test
6. Once you have done all these, your CAS number will be provided
